About – Blair Construction

Blair Construction, established in 1988, has built a solid reputation for its high quality services, dependability, and unparalleled experience. Blair Calderhead is a well-known community member who has cultivated strong relationships throughout the city. He regularly collaborates with esteemed architects, electricians, plumbers, and landscapers. Blair Construction is committed to meeting each client’s unique needs and to making their vision a reality. For many, renovating or building a home can be stressful. Blair Construction focuses on communication and partnership to ensure that each project is executed smoothly and efficiently.

Raised on Fraser Street in the Ocean Park neighborhood of Santa Monica, Blair Calderhead grew up surfing and skateboarding. His family ran an interior design business on Main Street, which instilled in him a desire to build homes.

Blair took his first woodshop class at John Adams Junior High School in the 1970s, leading him to a career in carpentry. At 27 years old, he became a licensed general contractor. To this day, Blair’s work is influenced by the beachside home that he grew up in.
